‘KGF: Chapter 2’ box office collection Day 11: Yash’s film crosses Rs 300 crore on its second weekend – Times of India


Yash’s period action film ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ is unstoppable. The film recorded a huge second weekend as it collected over Rs 50 crore nett, reports Boxofficeindia. With a total collection of around Rs 315 crore after second weekend, the Hindi version of the film has entered the coveted 300 crore club. The film also crossed Rs 100 crore in the Mumbai circuit and very soon, it will become the third highest grossing film in this circuit following ‘Baahubali – The Conclusion’ and ‘Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior’. Adding to the several records it broke, ‘KGF 2‘ also became the first film to collect Rs 10 crore nett in the Odisha circuit, the report further stated.

The film is expected to hold well even after the Eid releases. In other languages, ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ stormed past the revered Rs 800 crore over the second weekend. The worldwide collections of the film (all versions), as per the latest reports, have amounted to Rs 818.73 crore gross figures and has beaten the Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar’s Tamil film ‘2.0’ to take the 7th spot in the list of highest-grossing Indian films. Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘PK’ stands as the next challenge at Rs 854 crore and one can expect ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ to surpass the figures in the next few days.
