After completing one schedule of the film, Samantha Ruth Prabhu had to come out of the project due to ill health. The actress was diagnosed with a skin disease at that time. She was offered the role of Manju, Ram Charan’s love interest that eventually went to Shruti Haasan. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, this film turned out to be a blockbuster hit at the box office.
