‘Heropanti 2’ box office collection day 5: Tiger Shroff starrer action entertainer earns only Rs 2.5 crore – Times of India


‘Heropanti 2’ has scored a very low figure despite Eid. The film could not cash in on the national holiday and only added Rs 2.50 crore to its total. This Tiger Shroff starrer managed to record a growth but overall it continued with a low trend. The total collection of ‘Heropanti 2’ now stands at a Rs 18.50 crore nett. At the end of its first week, this action entertainer is expected to do a business of around Rs 21 crore nett.

Directed by Ahmed Khan, ‘Heropanti 2’ opened to a low score of Rs 6.25 crore. The film clashed with Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Runway 34’. Both the movies also faced tough competition from ‘KGF 2’ Hindi, which continued to dominate.

For ‘Heropanti 2’, Tara Sutaria reunited with her first hero, Tiger Shroff, who she romanced in her debut film ‘Student of The Year 2’. Speaking about Tiger, Tara had told BT “With every film, the set and your co-stars become your world for a certain period of time. People tend to move on once the project wraps up, but that hasn’t been the case with Tiger and I treasure that about him. We managed to stay in touch over the years. I must say that among all my co-stars, I am the closest to Tiger. I did my first film with him and he is also the first friend I made in the industry.
