The theme of Karan’s star-studded party is black and bling. All the directors who have worked under Dharma Productions will be present. The filmmaker has also invited Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan to his birthday bash. Besides them, power couples Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone are likely to mark their presence, a report in IndiaToday.in stated.
Johar had earlier hosted a lavish party for Apoorva Mehta’s 50th birthday. Bollywood celebrities like Arjun Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Ananya Panday, Parineeti Chopra, Vijay Deverakonda and many others had made their presence felt.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Karan is directing ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ which will star Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in lead roles. The filmmaker has also roped in actors like Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan in key roles.
Apart from this, he also has his period drama, ‘Takht’ in his kitty. The film boasts of an ensemble star cast which includes Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, Jahnvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor.
