Anurag Basu to collaborate with Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor for a film?; here’s what the filmmaker has to say – Times of India

Reports of Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor collaborating with Anurag Basu for a film. The reports also suggested that Basu is developing a screenplay for the film. Now, the filmmaker clarified that he is not doing any movie with the two stars.

Taking to his Twitter, he wrote, “Woke up to the news of my new film with Amir and Ranbir… Wish it was true!” Check out the tweet:

Before Anurag cleared the air, the reports also stated that Aamir and Ranbir have not given their nod to the film yet and the duo will sign it only when they are satisfied with the final output.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Aamir will next feature in ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ co-starring Kareena Kapoor Khan. It has been slated to hit the theatres in August this year.

On the other hand, Ranbir will next star in ‘Brahmastra’, ‘Shamshera’ and Luv Ranjan‘s film with Shraddha Kapoor.

Anurag Basu helmed the multi-starrer ‘Ludo’ which was released in 2020.
