Neetu Kapoor reveals when she had her last conversation with the late Rishi Kapoor; it was their engagement anniversary – Times of India

Legendary actor Rishi Kapoor passed away on April 30, 2020. The entire nation mourned the demise of the veteran star. Recently, his wife and veteran actress Neetu Kapoor recalled the last time she spoke to Rishi when he was in the hospital.

Neetu shared that April 13, 2020, was the last day she had a conversation with Rishi Kapoor as he was put on a ventilator after that. It was their engagement anniversary. The couple got engaged on April 13, 1979.

She went on to add that her son Ranbir Kapoor got married to Alia Bhatt on April 14, but the puja was held on April 13, this year. Neetu also stated that it was tormenting to see Rishi Kapoor go through all the treatment procedures. The late actor wanted to say so much, however, he couldn’t express it.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Neetu will next feature in ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ co-starring Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani. The film has been slated for June release.

On the other hand, Rishi Kapoor’s last film ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’ was released in March, this year.
