ETimes got in touch with Sharad Ponkshe to know his views on Ketaki Chitale‘s derogatory post about NCP president Sharad Pawar.
Sharad Ponkshe said, “I have read Ketaki ‘s post on social media. I think she had reshared someone else post. What she has done is very sad and disappointing. We have the right to speak but we must not cross our limits.”
“We must know what we are sharing and how we are sharing it. At the same time, we also need to understand that she is a young girl and needs to give one opportunity to improve. I think she has realized what she has done. We must not politicize this incident and make a big issue out of this,” Ponkshe added.
Talking about Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, Ponkshe said, “There are so many controversial posts shared against ‘Savarkar’. I have seen such actions taken against them. I think before commenting or sharing anything against anyone, we must not cross our limits.”
“I don’t think Ketki has committed any big crime. She is very young now and government should give her a chance to improve,” Ponkshe concluded.
