‘Sarkaru Vari Pata Box-Office Collection Day 5: Mahesh’s film surpasses Rs 150 crores collection – Times of India

After two long years, Mahesh Babu’s entertainer finally hit the theatres. Though the film initially received mixed reports from the moviegoers, the film seems to be enjoying a decent run at the box office due to its star power. The film has reportedly seen a grand opening and has reportedly marched past 150 crores (Gross) and Rs 104.30 crore (Nett) at the box office.

The film had reportedly earned around 8 crores in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and the film is expected to may over Rs 5 crores on its 6th day.

Both the mass and class audiences are going gaga over Mahesh Babu’s look and characterization in the film which is reportedly doing exceptionally well. The film has reportedly surpassed over $ 2M collections in the USA market.

With no other big films playing in theatres in Telugu states is said to be a great advantage to Superstar’s film at the box office. The film reportedly had 25 – 50 % occupancy at the film theatres and is a Telugu action comedy film written and directed by Parasuram. The film starred Keerthy Suresh as a female lead while actors Samuthirakani, Vennela Kishore, Nadhiya and Subbaraju played other important roles in the film.

The film revolves around the conflict between a finance agent who gets conned by a woman and the latter’s father, who is an MP and an Industrialist.
