She will next be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s ‘Sam Bahadur’ where she would be seen sharing screen space with Vicky Kaushal and Sanya Malhotra. When asked if she’s excited to start working with Vicky and Sanya Malhotra in the upcoming film, Fatima in an interview with Pinkvilla, shared, she is more than happy. She keeps on meeting Sanya anyway. She said that that they wont be ‘acting’ together – as it will be something like Ludo. “We will have some passing moment together.”
She added that the fact that they we will be together in the same film is very ‘special’ for her. She also added, that they are lucky for each other. Speaking about Vicky, she said, he’s a ‘sweetheart’.
Speaking of ‘Sam Bahadur’ Fatima will essaying the role of Smt Indira Gandhi in Meghna Gulzar’s directorial. It’s a biopic on the life of former Chief of the Army Staff and Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, known as Sam Bahadur. Vicky Kaushal will be seen playing the titular role, while Sanya Malhotra will be seen portraying the role of his wife Silloo Manekshaw. The film is all set to release in August this year.
