After several weeks of scandalous accusations, shocking testimonies, conflicting statements and controversial counters, the much talked about Johnny Depp and Amber Heard case neared its end on Friday. Lawyers of the Hollywood couple delivered their closing arguments, leaving the jury to announce the final verdict on the trial. While Depp’s lawyers stated that the actor had been defamed in the Washington Post op-ed wherein he was painted as a ‘domestic abuser’, Amber’s counsel argued that his accusations were true.
