The positive trend for ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ has been across theatres with the Hindi belt and bigger multiplexes contributing massively to the film’s success. This horror drama may not rake in a big number on Sunday. However, the film is doing well in its second week, for a post pandemic release. ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ managed to beat Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Dhaakad’ at the box office, while last Friday release, Ayushmann Khurrana’s ‘Anek’ is also facing a tough time at the box office.
Speaking about his initial struggles in Bollywood when he was trying to earn a name, Kartik had told BT, “There was a time where I was trying to get into the industry, then there was a time where I wanted to get my second or third film, and then there was a time when I wanted people to know my name… as they would refer to me as the monologue actor (from Pyaar ka Punchnama). It was only after Sonu Ke… that people registered my name. I am finally in a space where I am getting the opportunities to explore myself as an actor and play challenging characters. It definitely feels that I have arrived now.” Up next, Kartik Aaryan will be seen in ‘Freddy’ with Alaya F and in ‘Shehzada’ with Kriti Sanon. He has also signed up for Hansal Mehta’s directorial ‘Captain India’.
