Did Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani just hint at ‘Don 3’ in the making? – Times of India

After a hiatus and a wedding with Shibani Dandekar, Farhan Akhtar is ready for Bollywood again. In case you missed it, the filmmaker-actor recently sat down scripting something for his audience. His partner at Excel Entertainment, Ritesh Sidhwani too to Instagram and shared a glimpse of his process with a picture. “100% focus even when he’s putting pen to paper (err.. fingers to keyboard) @faroutakhtar is back in writer mode after a long hiatus. Guess what he’s working on…” he captioned the post.

Farhan is seen busy with his pen and paper in the study room and if sources are to be believed, he has started writing the script for ‘Don 3‘. Fans of the Farhan could not keep calm and rushed to drop reactions in the comments section. Some even assumed he is working on ‘Jee Le Zara‘ which will bring together Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra together for the first time on screen.

While Ali Fazal could not ignore the painting in the background, Divyenndu hoped whatever Farhan has will be a surprise for him. “Well the painting behind has a toofani vibe,” commented Ali, whereas Divyenndu wrote, “I know he’s writing something special for me 🫠 let it be a surprise!!”

Farhan and Ritesh’s last project was the ‘KGF’ franchise which was a major hit. Farhan has also been the writer on hits like ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’, ‘Dil Chahta Hai’, ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’, ‘Don’, ‘Don 2’, and ‘Rock On’ among many others.
