Milind Gunaji says from ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, Bollywood will pick up the pace at the box office as he opens up about the Hindi vs regional cinema debate – Times of India

Milind Gunaji recently joined the bandwagon of celebrities who have given their opinion on the ongoing debate on Hindi vs regional cinema.

Talking to a news portal, the actor said that every industry is capable of bringing good films. Bollywood has reached its potential and has always given tremendous films. In the case of the South industry, they are technically advanced. And then there is also a factor of luck. Milind feels that from ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, Bollywood will pick up. According to him, there is no big or small film, it is all about timing.

The senior actor also spoke about the response he has been getting for his performance in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’. Milind said that he had done a big film after a long gap and he has been getting numerous messages. The actor added that his previous films like ‘Phir Hera Pheri’ or ‘Devdas’ saw him in impactful roles and those characters became quite popular as well. Previously in the 90s, he had done films where he was the main villain. So for this, he is getting a similar kind of response, though not like ‘Virasat’ or ‘Fareb’.

Milind also further added that many people from this generation do not know about his films in the 90s so they have noticed the character and liked it.

Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film stars Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani and Tabu in lead roles.
