Arjun Kapoor gives a befitting reply to a troll; says, ‘I don’t hide behind a pic of a torso’ – Times of India

Arjun Kapoor is lately making headlines for his inspiring body transformation. While the actor’s hard work has left many in awe, the actor was recently subjected to criticism by a troll who body shamed him saying he can never get in shape. “Man you are a lucky trainer to get a client like this, you keep printing money boy, this guy can never get in shape. He is a rich guy with no mentality bro,” a troll commented on a post tagging Arjun’s trainer.

The ‘Ishaqzaade’ star replied to the troll saying, “So according people like you being in shape is just about having cuts on your body, the shift in mentality, the ability to show up, to push hard and smile through a session, to eat clean, to be disciplined in adversity, to make each session count and to improve your actual health and strength and posture and the ability to push isn’t the point of working out right? We should all look like your display picture… that’s a sad way of looking at fitness… and where mentality is concerned i can stand up to criticism and reply face to face, I don’t hide behind a pic of a torso.”

Further, Arjun posted a rather encouraging message for those who are working and taking even the smallest of steps towards their fitness. “I encourage anyone who’s ever had a bad day, week or even a month with their diet or lifestyle. You are truly powerful and courageous if you have the ability to get up and try again. Fitness isn’t about a six pack, fitness is about mental, emotional and physical well being. Damn those who sit and judge and comment they don’t know you, they don’t know your journey to be happier about your own body,” he wrote.

On the work front, Arjun Kapoor will be next seen in ‘Ek Villain Returns’ which also stars John Abraham, Tara Sutaria and Disha Patani. He also has ‘Kuttey’ and ‘The Lady Killer’ in the pipeline.
