Sidhu Moose Wala: Late singer’s team requests media not carry any random statements as to his family’s appeal – Times of India


It’s been more than a week since Punjabi singer-actor and politician Sidhu Moose Wala left behind his memories in the mortal world and headed to peace. On one hand, where the preparations for Sidhu’s antim bhog are being done, on the other hand, the investigation of the murder is also in process. Amid the same, the late singer’s team has shared a request to kindly not associate any random statement as an appeal from his family.

The team has shared that if Sidhu’s family would like to say something, will have a comment or request, they will either say it directly or use the social media handle of the late actor to put across their statement.

“Media nu benti hai Sidhu veer de parivaar valon jo vo benti hovegi @sidhu_moosewala page te likh ke ja bol ke kiti jayegi Kirpa krke kise v gal nu parivar di apeal da naam na dita jaave” (It is a request to the media that whatever appeal Sidhu’s family will have, it will be said or writing on @sidhu_moosewala page. Please don’t associate anything apart from that with his family’s appeal), read the statement shared on Sidhu’s official Instagram account.

Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead on May 29, Sunday. According to the reports, recently the police have arrested one more suspect in the case and are on the lookout for others.

Meanwhile, life in Punjab has paused in a way. Many musicians have postponed and canceled their shows. Even the release of Ammy Virk’s ‘Sher Bagga’ has been postponed until further notice in the wake of Sidhu Moose Wala’s death.
