Taking to his Twitter handle, Suriya shared a photo where he is seen sitting in front of an aircraft with the Bollywood’s ‘Khiladi’ star. The actors are seen twinning in cool sunglasses. As soon as the picture surfaced on the internet, their fans got super excited. While one fan called it, ‘Best crossover ever’, another one hoped, ‘Maybe we can Suriya in a full-length role in Hindi soon.’
Directed by Sudha Kongara, ‘Soorarai Pottru’ is partially inspired by the events of the life of Simplify Deccan founder GR Gopinath. The original film starred Suriya as Maara, a former Air Force officer with a dream of starting a low-cost airline in India. The film was received well critically and praised by fans.
It also starred Aparna Balamurali and Paresh Rawal, with Mohan Babu, Urvashi, and Karunas amongst others in supporting roles.
