Mohit says, “I had gone to him for Ek Villain too, this time I was hell-bent that I won’t let him go.” To this, Arjun replied saying, “Well, I was working on my film Tevar at that time and so I could do Ek Villain.”
The romantic thriller film also stars John Abraham, Tara Sutaria and Disha Patani. At the do, Arjun shared his take on love and heartbreaks saying, “Har kahani mein koi hero hota hai aur koi villain hota. Aapko apni kahani mein kabhi hero banna padta hai, toh kabhi viallin. Aur jab pyaar sachcha ho, toh aap yeh nahi sochte ki hero hai ya villain, but uska repercussion bhi alag alag hota hai. It’s just that the love has to be pure.”
He further adds, “Love sometimes breaks you, but also it makes you. To be able to fall in love is amazing, but then one should face a heartbreak too, without that life is incomplete. There are people who have had terrible heartbreaks, but to be able to rise from that is really something! Thay way, you can understand value of life. That is a true lover. You don’t always get what you want. In that sense, you have to live your life and wish well for that other person (your partner) too.”
Producer of the film Ekta Kapoor thanked Rohit Shetty for being kind towards her. She said, “Mohit had initially shared this story with Rohit Shetty. And I wanted to make this film. Rohit is my rakhi brother and I requested him to give it to me and he did!”
