Richa Chadha says people will see a new side of her in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Heeramandi’ – Times of India

Actress Richa Chadha, who recently wrapped up the shooting of ‘Fukrey 3’, has started prepping up for Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s web series, ‘Heeramandi’. Reportedly, the actress will be seen playing an important role in the series.

Richa is also taking Kathak lessons to ace her role. Speaking about the same, she told an entertainment portal that she has trained for almost a decade in the past in Kathak. She added that it’s great to reconnect and rekindle her love for this dance form.

Richa told India Today that it’s been exhilarating these past few days. She said that she’s looking forward to applying these lessons on screen and in front of the camera. She also said that people will get to see a new side of her.

The web series will also feature Huma Qureshi, Sonakshi Sinha, Manisha Koirala, and Aditi Rao Hydari. Richa earlier worked with Bhansali in ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’.

‘Heeramandi’ will explore stories of courtesans during pre-independent India. The series is said to be about love, betrayal and politics.
