
During a recent interaction, Vaani Kapoor denied the comparisons and stated, “No, because there’s only so much that you’ve seen in a trailer. One must perceive way more than one can understand from the trailer or the song that has come out. But there’s an entirely different arc for my character. I can say with conviction that it’s a very different film. I’ve seen Thugs of Hindostan, and I’ve worked on my film, and there’s no comparison.” She also went on to praise Katrina and added, “She is a wonderful dancer, actor, everything, and I’m glad. If you’re comparing me, please compare me to her beauty. I would be very happy. But I know that my part is written in a different way and the subject in the film is very different from that one.”
Directed by Karan Malhotra, ‘Shamshera’ stars Ranbir in the lead role while Sanjay Dutt essays the antagonist. This massive entertainer is slated for release on July 22, 2022.
