‘HIT: The First Case’, ‘Shabaash Mithu’ witness a huge drop in box office collections on Day 4 – Times of India

‘HIT: The First Case’ and ‘Shabaash Mithu’ are back to square one. Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra’s action thriller ‘HIT’ that had shown over 65 per cent growth on Sunday, witnessed a major drop on Monday. The film collected Rs 65 lakh nett on Day 4 taking its business to Rs 6 crore nett, reports Box Office India. It seems the film will barely make it to Rs 10 crore nett mark at the end of its theatrical run.

On the other hand, Taapsee Pannu-starrer sports drama ‘Shabaash Mithu’ is a total disaster as its collections dropped from Rs 70 lakh on Sunday to Rs 15 lakh nett on Monday. The film has collected only Rs 1.80 crore nett in four days.

Speaking to ETimes recently, Taapsee Pannu admitted that she’s had enough of sports films. “I want to take a break from sports-related films, because it is taking a mental toll on me. I literally have no life beyond training and shooting. I wake up early in the morning, go for two hours of training and go shoot another film for 12 hours. I am forced to sleep as soon as I am back, otherwise I will not get enough sleep to be ready for the next day. I have been living this life for two years and it is taking a toll on me,” she had said.
