Kiccha Sudeep checked on Salman Khan after he received death threats; says, ‘He is a harmless, straightforward man’ – Times of India


Salman Khan recently received death threats through an anonymous letter and despite that the actor had left for the shoot of his film in Hyderabad amidst tight security. Fans and well-wishers of the superstar were left worried about the safety and well being of the actor. South star Kiccha Sudeep who is good friends with Salman recently opened up in an interview and said that such incidents prove that an actor’s life is vulnerable.

Speaking to India.com, Kiccha said that he called up Salman Khan when he knew about the death threat he received. “I checked on him. Mai Salman sir ke baare mein ye bata deta hun ki unko abhi chhodo, toh woh abhi paidal niklenge, abhi cycling niklenge woh. Ye unka decision nahi hai, ye unse pyaar karne wale logon ka and police department me jo kaam karte hain, unka responsibility hai. Warna woh abhi bhi niklenge paidal. He has lived his life like this. He has lived his life the way he wants to. He is a harmless man. He is a straightforward man.”

Kiccha who has worked with Salman in ‘Dabangg 3’ said that Salman is liked by all because he has a good heart. “He connects to your heart, your truth and your humanity. Don’t go to him with two faces, he will know,” Kiccha further said.

On the work front, Kiccha Sudeep is gearing up for the release of his Kannada film ‘Vikrant Rona’. The big budget adventure saga also stars Nirup Bhandari, Jacqueline Fernandez and Neetha Ashok in key roles. It is set to release on July 28 in five Indian languages.
