Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have consciously made sure not to reveal their daughter’s face on social media and have often requested the paparazzi to avoid clicking her pictures. “We seek privacy for our child and would like to do our best to give her a chance to live her life freely away from media and social media. As she is older we cannot restrict her movement and hence your support is needed so kindly practice restraint in the matter,” Anushka had previously shared on Instagram.
On the work front, Anushka is prepping for her OTT debut film ‘Chakda Xpress’. She has been sweating it out in the film to perfect her portrayal of cricketer Jhulan Goswami. Announcing the project Anushka had shared, “It is a really special film because it is essentially a story of tremendous sacrifice. Chakda Xpress is inspired by the life and times of former Indian captain Jhulan Goswami and it will be an eye-opener into the world of women’s cricket. At a time when Jhulan decided to become a cricketer and make her country proud on the global stage, it was very tough for women to even think of playing the sport. This film is a dramatic retelling of several instances that shaped her life and also women’s cricket.”
