Hrithik Roshan’s cousin Pashmina Roshan has learnt the ropes of acting in theatre – Exclusive – Times of India

She’s the veritable entrant to the star kid brigade, but there’s more to Pashmina Roshan, than just her ties to the Roshan family and her illustrious cousin, Hrithik Roshan. Pashmina is going to debut with a remake of Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao’s 2003 cult hit Ishq Vishk, but that’s not going to be her proverbial first tryst with performance arts.

The young actress has already had a prominent journey in theatre. She has performed at The Royal Opera House for over eight housefull shows in a major play. A source close to the Ishq Vishk production told ETimes, “At the age of 21, Pashmina made her theatre debut as Cecily Cardew in the Oscar Wilde comedy play The Importance of Being Earnest. She’s already made a mark on stage and this venture into showbiz with the Ishq Vishk remake is a natural progression in her career.”

Offering a contemporary twist to modern relationships, Ishq Vishk Rebound will feature Pashmina opposite Rohit Saraf, along with Jibraan Khan who’s known for his performance in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. The cast also includes young actress Naila Grewal.

The shooting of Pashmina’s debut film was recently wrapped in Dehradun and the debutante had shared fun glimpses from the shoot on social media. The first look and motion poster had released earlier this year. The film is expected to release sometime next year.
