Chiranjeevi recently unveiled the Telugu trailer of Aamir’s ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ in Hyderabad. At the trailer launch event, Aamir spoke about his long association with Chiranjeevi although they have met only a few times over the past couple of decades.
Thanking him for graciously accepting his invitation to be a part of the trailer launch, Aamir added that he’d like to return the favour by working on one of his projects if there’s an opportunity. Further, the Bollywood star also jokingly asked Chiranjeevi why he didn’t approach him for a role in his film Godfather and went with Salman Khan instead.
Replying to the same, the south megastar revealed that the character didn’t need someone with heart and brain, but needed someone for their physicality, and that’s why they went with Salman. The film would mark his debut in the Telugu film industry. ‘Godfather’ also stars Nayanthara and Satyadev Kancharana.
‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, on the other hand, stars Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh, Naga Chaitanya and others. It is slated to hit the theatres on August 11, 2022.
