Known for bringing a significant change in the portrayal of women in cinema, actors Alia Bhatt and Shefali have done it again in their highly anticipated next ‘Darlings’. The film also marks Alia’s debut as a producer too. The makers dropped the trailer today.
Sharing the trailer on her social media handle, an elated Alia Bhatt wrote, “My first film as a producer!!! So excited nervous thrilled emotional to share it with you!!!! DARLINGS TRAILER OUT NOW!”
In the video clip, Alia Bhatt and Shefali Shah can be seen working together as team as they arrive at the police station to file a missing report for Alia’s husband. The trailer then unfolds the twists and turns in their relationship with a lot of drama, humour, and all things in between. The film also stars Vijay Verma and Roshan Mathew in pivotal roles.
Helmed by Jasmeet K. Reen, the film is slated to have an OTT release on August 5.
