Katrina Kaif-Vicky Kaushal did not receive death threat; actress was being harassed by a stalker for a long time – Times of India

Earlier today, reports flew thick that Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal have received a threat on social media and the actor has also filed a police complaint at Santacruz police station. ETimes also learnt that Katrina is shooting amidst heavy security on the sets of her upcoming film ‘Merry Christmas’ in Mumbai. A source told ETimes, “There is nothing to worry as there is heavy security on set and all precautions are always taken.” Soon after ANI reported that the man accused of threatening Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal was arrested by the Mumbai Police.

“The stories flying around are exaggerated . It’s not as serious as the way it’s being reported. This is a stalker who shows up from time to time unannounced and has been harassing her for a long time. The authorities have been notified of the same and a complaint has been filed,” informs another source.

The case was registered under sections 506(2), 354(D) of the IPC. Vicky had complained that one person has been threatening and posting threat messages on Instagram. He stated that the accused has also been stalking his wife Katrina and threatening her.

Apart from ‘Merry Christmas’, Katrina also has ‘Tiger 3’ with Salman Khan, ‘Phone Bhoot’ with Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi, and ‘Jee Le Zara’ with Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra. Vicky has ‘Sam Bahadur’, ‘Govinda Naam Mera’ and an untitled film with Sara Ali Khan.
