Talking about the same, Sidharth told a news portal that his meeting with various army personnels, their family members have given him such an interesting and in-depth insight into what our Indian Armed forces across the country do, and the efforts and resources that go into it.
Elaborating further, he added that the character of Captain Vikram Batra is very close to him as he has lived the role for so many years. According to him, it has changed his outlook towards the armed forces, and towards the effort that our government makes.
The actor also went on to share that he comes from an army background with my grandfather serving in the Indian Army. Unfortunately, he didn’t get to experience that life. However, the role of Vikram Batra gave him a very small taste of what it is to be an army officer and he will always cherish, respect that, and be grateful about it. Sidharth also added that he feels very proud to be an Indian to have such an amazing armed force.
On the work front, Sidharth has films like, ‘Thank God’ and ‘Mission Majnu’ in his pipeline.
