Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur land in Kochi for the pre-release event of ‘Sita Ramam’ – Times of India

Dulquer Salmaan is on a promotional spree for his upcoming release ‘Sita Ramam’ helmed by Hanu Raghavapudi. After wrapping up the Chennai, and Hyderabad promotions, Dulquer Salmaan landed in his hometown Kochi, to promote the film. The stylish star was accompanied by his ‘Sita Ramam’ co-star Mrunal Thakur. Dulquer Salmaan sported an uber-cool look donning a black sweatshirt teamed with blue jeans, while Mrunal Thakur was looking all chic in a beige crop top and flared beige trousers.

Kochiites are thrilled as the pre-release event is set to happen in a shopping mall in Kochi. Meanwhile, the Malayalam trailer of ‘Sita Ramam’ was launched today and the cinephiles are already going gaga over the film.

Helmed by Hanu Raghavapudi, ‘Sita Ramam’ is slated for release on August 5 worldwide. ‘Sita Ramam’tells the captivating love story between Sita and Ram. Set against the backdrop of the 1965 India-Pakistan war, the film has Dulquer Salmaan playing Lieutenant Ram, who is an orphan, and serves the nation and is posted in Kashmir. Mrunal Thakur plays Sita Mahalakshmi, while Rashmika Mandanna has roped in for a pivotal role in the film.

Interestingly, Dulquer Salmaan is also celebrating his birthday tomorrow (July 28), and his Keralite fans are super excited to catch a glimpse of their favourite star, a day before his birthday!
