Ananya Panday calls Kartik Aaryan in the final quiz round on ‘Koffee With Karan 7’ – Times of India

Ananya Panday who appeared on Karan Johar‘s ‘Koffee With Karan 7’ called up Kartik Aaryan in the final quiz round of the show. KJo asked both Ananya and her ‘Liger’ co-star Vijay Deverakonda, who also graced the show with Ananya, to call their celebrity friends and make them say, ‘Hey Karan it’s me!’

Ananya rang her ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ co-star Kartik Aaryan and asked him to say it. As soon as the filmmaker heard about Kartik’s name, he smiled. Well, the actress got both of them to talk to each other and it looked like she played the peacemaker between them. The ‘Love Aaj Kal’ helped Ananya and said, “Hey Karan it’s me!”

The filmmaker then said that he imagined Kartik would be busy promoting ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ and the latter confirmed the same. KJo also thanked the actor for participating in the quiz game.

Well, Ananya got the actor and the filmmaker to talk during the quiz round after it was said all is not well between them.

For the unversed, Kartik had opted out from Karan Johar-backed film ‘Dostana 2’ co-starring Janhvi Kapoor and Lakshya. Reports were rife that due to creative differences between Kartik and Karan, the actor backed out from the project. Later, KJo’s production house released a statement, “Due to professional circumstances, on which we have decided to maintain a dignified silence, we will be recasting ‘Dostana 2’, directed by Collin D’Cunha. Please wait for the official announcement soon.”

Earlier, Kartik also shared the dance floor with KJo at an awards night.
