On the work front, Anushka is busy prepping for her OTT debut ‘Chakda Xpress’, which she is also producing. The actress will step into the shoes of ace cricketer Jhulan Goswami for this film which is inspired from the former captain’s journey. Anushka will be training in Leeds for her onscreen role. “Anushka has always been a deeply committed artiste and she wants to do justice to the role at hand. She will prep thoroughly and put herself through rigorous training exercises before she shoots the key scenes right from end of August through September,” a source had revealed. ‘Chakda Xpress’ marks Anushka Sharma’s return to films after the debacle of ‘Zero’ in 2018. This OTT release is helmed by Prosit Roy.
