Here’s the real reason why Tiger Shroff’s Screw Dheela got pushed to 2023 – Exclusive – Times of India

There’s been buzz in industry circles that Tiger Shroff’s latest action flick, Screw Dheela with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions might not happen. Some reports recently cropped up that the film wasn’t shelved but pushed to early 2023 due to conflicts over Tiger’s dates. It was the perfect opportunity for ETimes to speak to our trusted sources and find out the truth.

After speaking to a few sources close to the film’s production, it was revealed that the real reason Tiger wasn’t able to commit to the shoot of Screw Dheela was his previous commitment to Pooja Entertainment’s Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan remake. A source told ETimes, “The makers of Screw Dheela wanted to sign Tiger for multiple months but he had already committed to other projects. One such project is the Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan remake with Akshay Kumar. That film is slated to start in the first quarter of 2023 and that’s why the Screw Dheela shoot would not work out.”

As things stand right now, Screw Dheela’s production schedule needs to be totally reworked for 2023 and the team is trying to figure out new dates. In the mean time, Tiger will prep for the film with Akshay Kumar, a project that he’s excited to work in. That film is helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar.

As always, ETimes will bring you more details from these projects. Watch this space.
