The two-minute teaser allows one to enter into the world of gangsters and cops. While Saif plays the role of Vikram – a tough cop, Hrithik plays a dreaded gangster Vedha. The film talks about choosing between Good & Evil, which define them in the larger picture. The action sequences and the background music will surely give one goosebump as Hrithik and Saif get pitted opposite each other.
The original film which starred R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi was a massive hit. Filmmaker duo Pushkar and Gayathri, who directed the original too, had earlier shared that they don’t feel pressurised to make the film in a certain way.
Gayathri also added that they were brought on board to recreate the elements that made the original so successful. Reportedly, Hrithik and Saif have delivered a much larger scale project compared to the original. On a closing note, the makers said that despite the scale being much bigger, there’s no pressure and infact it gave them a lot more scope to do things.
The film is slated to hit the theatres on 30th September 2022.
