Ganesh Chaturthi 2022: Kartik Aaryan, Ajay Devgn, Priyanka Chopra and other Bollywood stars wish fans on the auspicious occasion – Times of India

“Ganpati Bappa Morya!” Bollywood stars said on their social media handles as they signalled the start of the 10-day Ganesh Chaturthi festival.

Taking to their social media handles, celebs shared photos of Lord Ganesha and added festive greetings for their fans and fellow devotees.

“Happy Ganesh Chaturthi to one and all! May Bappa bring you’ll only good fortunes and prosperity,” actor Sanjay Dutt said in a tweet.

“Sending across my warm wishes to you and your family on Ganesh Chaturthi. May we all be showered with Ganpati Bappa’s blessings,” Akshay Kumar wrote in this post.

Shahid Kapoor shared a pic of the Ganesha idol and wrote, “Wishing you all a very happy Ganesh Chaturthi. Ganpati Bappa Morya!”

Jr NTR also sent across his greetings in a post that read, “Wishing everyone a Happy Ganesh Chaturthi!”

The ten-day Ganesh Chaturthi festival started on Wednesday with the coronavirus pandemic no longer casting its shadow on the celebrations. The idols of Lord Ganesh, the god of prosperity and wisdom and a slayer of obstacles (‘vighna-harta’), will be installed in homes across the state with pomp and gaiety. The pandemic-induced restrictions, now lifted, had curtailed the celebration in the last two years, hence the public celebration of the festival in roadside Ganesh pandals is expected to be on a bigger scale this year.

Kartik Aaryan began the festive season by heading to the famous Lal Baugcha Raja to offer his prayers. Sharing a photo of himself from inside the pandal, he wrote, ” Ganpati Bappa Morya!!! Blessed to get my first darshan of #LalBaugchaRaja Thank you Bappa for making this Life changing year. Aur hope karta hoon aap aagey bhi meri saari mannate aise hi poori karte rahe.”

Other stars like Shilpa Shetty, Salman Khan, Ekta Kapoor, and many others brought home the idol for the festive season.
