The Hindi version of ‘Brahmastra’ recorded the eighth highest worldwide total. The film earned a huge Rs 189 crore nett, reports boxofficeindia.com. This was the second-best total of the year, only after actor Yash’s ‘KGF 2’ which earned an estimated Rs 198 crore.
On the list of top 10 Hindi worldwide grossers, ‘Brahmastra’ stands eighth, behind ‘Sultan’ which earned Rs 210 crore, ‘Bahubali: The Conclusion’ which collected Rs 209 crore, ‘Sanju’ that earned Rs 204 crore, ‘Dangal’ Rs 199 crore and ‘KGF’ that came in fifth with a collection of Rs 198 crore.
Aamir Khan’s ‘Dhoom 3’ and Salman Khan‘s ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ took the sixth and seventh spots with Rs 194 crore and Rs 190 crore respectively.
Most of the films in the top ten were holiday releases with ‘Bahubali’, ‘Sanju’ and ‘Brahmastra’ being the only non-holiday releases.
