Farhan has often been questioned about the script of ‘Don 3’ and the filmmaker has maintained that it is in the making. With such a strong cast, Farhan was reportedly planning a cameo by Ranveer and the plot would involve SRK’s Don character passing on the baton of the franchise of Ranveer, who will also essay a don, reports bollywoodhungama. However, there has been no confirmation about the cast from Farhan Akhtar. Previously, speculations were rife that Shah Rukh Khan wanted to opt out of ‘Don 3’ as he was keen to sign up for Rakesh Sharma biopic. But since that space adventure has not taken off yet, looks like SRK is back with team ‘Don’. Recently Ritesh Sidhwani had shared a picture of Farhan on Instagram and captioned it, “100% focus even when he’s putting pen to paper (err.. fingers to keyboard) @faroutakhtar is back in writer mode after a long hiatus. Guess what he’s working on.” Fans were quick to speculate that the filmmaker was working on ‘Don 3’.
Apart from this, Farhan Akhtar will also helm ‘Jee Le Zaraa’. This road trip drama will feature Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. ETimes had exclusively reported that this film will go on floors next year.
