Chanakya’. Recently, the actor had also spoken about it. “Me and Neeraj are discussing it. I have to see my line-up for the next year and then we will decide (about shooting),” he had said. But, but… ETimes gave you the news a few minutes ago that ‘Chanakya’ is not happening anytime soon. We also told you that Neeraj and Ajay are planning something else instead and we shall come back quickly to tell you about it.
‘Chanakya’was originally supposed to start in November but now the duo is going ahead with a thriller.
This film (thriller) will kick off in Bhopal (a major chunk) in mid-November. It will be co-produced by Ajay and Neeraj and directed by Neeraj himself.
‘Chanakya’ subject needs to be well-researched and Ajay and Neeraj have decided that they rather wait and then go ahead with that film, sometime maybe in 2023. Ajay and Neeraj had been meeting quite often in view of ‘Chanakya’ and finally took the call saying that haste is waste. ‘Chanakya’ also might have required Devgn to shave off his head and maybe that would have interfered with his other projects.
We reached out to Neeraj Pandey, but he remained unavailable for comment. Neither did Devgn’s spokesperson revert with a concrete reply except telling us that we should get in touch with Neeraj or his team.
