Brahmastra sees a notable drop in sales in its fourth Friday ; collects around 65 lakhs – Times of India


Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s ‘Brahmastra’ has already broken all box office records and has emerged to be a blockbuster collecting over 300 crores globally at the ticket window. However, the film saw a drop in sales on the fourth Friday.

According to a report in Box Office India, the drop in sales was inevitable, as the third week got a boost from cinema day and there was competition with the recently released film Vikram Vedha. The Ayan Mukerji directorial collectted around 65 lakhs worth of sales at the ticket window.

However the film is expected to gain momentum again on Saturday and moreover, the Dussehra period will help the film to recover on the weekdays. The overall collections of the film so far is 220.50 crore nett and it should go towards that 230 crore mark in Hindi. The collections of Brahmastra (Hindi) are as follows.

First Week – 1,42,91,00,000

Second Week – 50,38,00,000

Friday – 8,50,00,000 apprx
