
Opting for elegant ivory ensembles the star couple dressed in their couture wear designed by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. The duo complimented each other with the groom’s in a panelled gold and beige sherwani and the bride in an ivory number.
Sharing photos on his handle, Ali wrote, “Ek Daur hum bhi hain.
Ek silsila tum bhi ho.”
Richa, on the other hand, captioned the pictures by promising her hubby, “I got you.”
The couple flew down to Lucknow where an evening affair was hosted by Ali’s family. The evening began with Qawwali performance by the Sabri Brothers of Rajasthan. The decor was in compliments of the Avadhi Lucknowi culture with golden custom-made drapes and chandelier candle holders.
The food was meticulously prepared by Lebua, a heritage family-run hotel in the centre of Lucknow with special dishes being prepared by Mahmoodabadi, another traditional family-run catering company that honours cuisine peculiar to the region.
The celebrations kicked off on October 1, before the bride and groom could head over to Mumbai for their grand Bollywood-style reception today, October 4.
