Amitabh Bachchan responds to PM Narendra Modi’s birthday message; says, “Your words will be my source of inspiration” – Times of India

As Amitabh Bachchan turned a year older today, social media was flooded with birthday wishes for the megastar. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also wished Big B on Twitter and wrote, “A very happy 80th birthday to Amitabh Bachchan Ji. He is one of India’s most remarkable film personalities who has enthralled and entertained audiences across generations. May he lead a long and healthy life. @SrBachchan.”

Now, Sr Bachchan has responded to PM’s birthday message and wrote, “Most respected, Shri Narendra Modi ji, I thank you for your well wishes. Your words of blessings will always be a source of inspiration for me. salute 🙏🙏🙏🚩”

Earlier in the day, the ‘Shahenshah’ of Bollywood stepped out of his Juhu residence ‘Jalsa’, to greet his fans on his birthday. A massive crowd of fans accumulated right in front of the megastar’s Juhu residence to wish him on Tuesday. Like every year, this year too Amitabh greeted his fans by folding his hands and waving at them.

On the film front, Amitabh will be next seen in director Sooraj Barjataya’s upcoming family entertainer film ‘Uunchai’ along with Anupam Kher, Boman Irani and Parineeti Chopra.
