‘Kantara’ is already making waves across the country and the Hindi dubbed version of this Kannada entertainer showed nearly 150 per cent jump in collection. On Saturday, the film earned Rs 2.75 core nett, reports Boxofficeindia. Mumbai circuit has contributed Rs 1 crore to the film’s collection, while Maharashtra state has added Rs 1.25 crore nett to the total. Going by this massive upward trend, it looks like ‘Kantara’ Hindi will collect a decent number at the box office. In the past, South films like ‘Rocketry’, Karthikeya 2’, ‘RRR’ and ‘Ponniyan Selvan: I’ have earned decent numbers for their Hindi dubbed versions and looks like ‘Kantara’ Hindi will also earn a spot in the same league.
Speaking about juggling acting and direction, Risab confessed that it was a huge pressure. He had told IANS, “Directing a scene and jumping in to enact my role was certainly tough. But I never let the others sense it. Looking back I don’t think I can go through it again.”
