Ayushmann Khurrana shares a reel of him mimicking Shah Rukh Khan as ‘DDLJ’ completes 27 years – WATCH – Times of India

Ayushmann Khurrana who’s usually known for picking up niche subjects and breaking the mould is actually quite a fan of the quintessential Hindi cinema massy movies. The actor is also a huge admirer of Shah Rukh Khan. The iconic ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ completed 27 years yesterday and Khurrana expressed his love for this film and SRK yet again!

The actor shared an old reel on his story on the 27th anniversary of the film. This was actually his first reel ever, which he had posted on Khan’s birthday as a tribute to the actor and his signature style.

Ayushmann’s film ‘Doctor G’ released last week and he got immense appreciation for his part. He plays a gynecologist in the film, which aims to break gender stereotypes. ‘Doctor G’ produced by Junglee Pictures, also stars Rakul Preet Singh and Shefali Shah in pivotal roles. Interestingly, this film is directed by Anurag Kashyap’s sister, Anubhuti Kashyap.

Post the release, Ayushmann and his wife Tahira Kashyap had hosted a Diwali party at their place which was attended by their friends from the industry. The highlight of the party remained Ayushmann’s bromance with Kartik Aaryan and the celebs taking over the dance floor.

Meanwhile, Ayushmann is presently shooting for ‘Dream Girl 2’ with Ananya Panday.
