But looks like this is not the reason why the makers of ‘Adipurush’ have decided to delay the film’s release. According to a news portal, this entertainer is being pushed to Summer 2023 in order to avoid a clash with South biggies like Chiranjeevi’s ‘Waltair Veeraya’, Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘Veera Simha Reddy’, Mammootty’s ‘Agent’, Ajith’s ‘Thunivu’ and Vijay starrer ‘Varisu’, all of which are reportedly slated to hit the screens during the festive occasion of Sankrant and Pongal 2023. The makers of ‘Adipurush’ are expected to make an official announcement about the film’s new release date soon.
Reacting to the backlash that the teaser faced, director Om Raut had said that he was ‘disheartened’ with the negative reviews but defending the teaser he added, “You can cut it down to some extent but can’t bring it down to a mobile phone. Given a choice, I’d never put it on YouTube but that’s the need of the hour.” ‘Adipurush’ is mounted on a grand scale and is reportedly made on a budget of over INR 400 crores. The film will be release in Hindi and Telugu, along with dubbed versions in Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
