Ranveer Singh set to collaborate with S. Shankar for India’s biggest Pan India film: Report – Times of India


In 2021, it was announced that Ranveer Singh is set to collaborated with Shankar for a new version of ‘Anniyan’, however, it was shelved reportedly. But now, there’s some good news the project is the cinematic adaptation of the epic novel ‘Velpari’.

This is quite an ambitious project as per a report in Pinkvilla which says that Shankar wants to make the biggest Pan India film. The novel apparently has everything to offer – from a larger-than-life hero to some life lessons and a love story. The novel also has scope for some magnificient VFX sequences that can be mounted on a big scale. It’s because of the quality of this novel that Ranveer and Shankar have collaborated.

What’s more? The film will be made in three parts due to its in-depth long screenplay. The report added that the shoot is set to begin in mid-2023. As of now, Shankar is working on his film with Ramcharan and Kiara Advani.

Meanwhile, Ranveer will be seen next in ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ directed by Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty’s ‘Cirkus’.
