A far cry from the sombre movies that show disability as a burden, Ranbir portrays the deaf- mute Barfi with childlike innocence, infectious warmth and a live life to the fullest attitude. Set in picturesque Darjeeling in the 70s, the movie, directed by Anurag Basu follows the journey of Barfi and how the two women in his life, Jhilmil (Priyanka Chopra) and Shruti (Ileana D’Cruz) change him for the better.
