Northern Army Commander Lt General Upendra Dwivedi issued a statement on Tuesday in the context of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh’s earlier assertion that India’s goal is to reclaim the Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. He said that they have just begun their journey of development in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. They will reportedly achieve thier goal when they reach Gilgit and Baltistan.
He also added that the military is always ready to make sure that the ceasefire understanding is never broken, as it is in the interests of both nations, but if broken at any time, we will give them a befitting reply.
