But, as per a recent report in Inside Sport, a friend of the couple has confirmed the news of divorce. The source confirmed that they’re officially divorced now but one can’t disclose more at the moment. Some legal issues are stopping the couple from officially announcing their separation.
Sania and Shoaib both have commitments as a couple to different shows and they’ve signed contracts to complete the shoot for the same. So, they would only be able to file for the divorce after fulfilling these commitments. This is the reason why the couple is keeping mum about their divorce at the moment. A video of the couple on the sets of the show has also surfaced.
Meanwhile, recently, Sania had celebrated her birthday with her mother and close friends like Farah Khan. Shoaib put up a post wishing the tennis star but she chose to neither react to his post nor share it despite the fact that Mirza re-shared wishes of all her other friends.
As per rumours, trouble started in their marriage because Shoaib cheated on her. But neither of the two have addressed these speculations. As of now, as per reports, Sania and Shoaib will co-parent their son Izhaan Mirza-Malik.
