Janhvi Kapoor posts new pic while playing cricket, leaves fans excited to see her on the big screen – Times of India

Over the last couple of years, Janhvi Kapoor has really grown by leaps and bounds as an actor. Starting off in Dhadak in 2018, the 25-year-old has been appreciated for her performance in movies like Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, Good Luck Jerry and the recent Mili. All geared up to play a cricketer in her upcoming movie, Mr and Mrs Mahi, Janhvi recently gave a sneak peek of her preparations for the challenging role.

Taking to her IG handle, Janhvi recently posted a pic from what looks like a practice session for the movie. Clad in a simple racerback top with shorts, Janhvi looked every bit the dedicated actor as she held a cricket bat in hand, covered in Kinesio tapes, presumably for better grip and function. She captioned the post as “It’s been a minute 🏏 #MrandMrsMahi.” Many fans commented on the pic, saying they were excited to see her in action soon.

Mr and Mrs Mahi co-stars Rajkummar Rao and will release early next year. Earlier the movie, directed by Sharan Sharma, was rumoured to be based on cricketer MS Dhoni and wife Sakshi, but the makers have not yet commented on the subject, managing to keep it under wraps till now. The movie will mark Janhvi and Rajkummar’s second outing together after Roohi.
