Even though Kajol and Salman Khan have shared screen space in a couple of movies, their only big appearance together remains the 1998 blockbuster Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya. The movie, co-starring Arbaaz Khan, was the quintessential love story between rich boy and not-so-rich girl and how the girl’s brother is a roadblock to their love. Apart from the fresh pairing of Kajol and Salman, the movie is still remembered for its iconic songs.
Now, the lead pair of the movie have come together again, this time however, on a reality show. To promote her upcoming movie Salaam Venky, Kajol recently appeared on the sets of a leading reality show, that Salman Khan hosts. Looking breathtaking in a red saree, Kajol looked every bit the diva as she reunited with her old friend. The two even recreated the famous eye blinking competition scene from the movie!.
Salaam Venky, co-starring Vishal Jethwa, Rajeev Khandelwal, Rahul Bose and Aahana Kumra is all set to release on December 9. The Revathi directed movie is the story of a terminally ill boy and his mother, who navigate through life’s challenges with a smile. The movie will also see a cameo by Aamir Khan.
