Jab Harry met Sejal” actor has been shooting for her sports biopic drama Chakda Xpress and recently dropped a pic from the shoot.
Taking to her IG stories, Anushka Sharma posted a pic from the night schedule of the movie and wrote, “Night Shoot. Yaya.” Though Anushka herself was not visible in the pic, the entire crew of the movie was neck deep in action, with a few of them masked up, presumably due to Covid 19.
Chakda Xpress is a sports biopic film based on the life of former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami. The “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” actor has been regularly interacting with Jhulan to get into the skin of the character. A few weeks back, she posted a solo pic of the cricketer while thanking her for her contribution to women’s cricket. She wrote, ”
An inspiration. A role-model. A legend. Your name will be etched in history forever ❤️. Thank you @jhulangoswami, for being a game changer in Indian Women’s Cricket.” In the comments section, Jhulan Goswami warmly acknowledged her wishes.
Chakda Xpress will be released exclusively on Netflix. The final release date of the movie, directed by Prosit Roy and co-starring Renuka Shahane is yet to be annouced.
