No takers for Sushant Singh Rajput’s sea-facing Bandra duplex even 2.5 years after his death – Times of India

Sushant Singh Rajput’s flat in Bandra, where he passed away on June 14, 2020, has been up for lease since over two years now. However, no one is willing to rent the luxurious sea facing flat.

Real estate broker Rafique Merchant had posted a video of the plush flat on social media, stating that it was available for rent at ₹5 lakh per month. The broker told a news portal that as opposed to earlier time when no one was willing to visit the flat, people are now atleast interested in the property. Rafique Merchant told Bollywood Hungama that the owner of the flat, who is an NRI, doesn’t want to bring down the rent and hence people are opting for other similar properties which don’t have ‘the baggage of controversy’ associated to this sea-facing duplex. He also revealed that the owner is not willing to rent out the flat to any film celebrities. Interested parties visiting the Mont Blanc building in Bandra West are informed in advance that Sushant used to live there. While there were a few willing parties interesting in renting the home, their family members discouraged from living in a property where a Bollywood actor had passed away.

Sushant paid a rent of Rs 4.5 lakh per month for this 4BHK apartment with an attached terrace, spread across 3.600 sq ft. He reportedly moved into this home in December 2019 and stayed with girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and a few roommates before his untimely demise.
